Beat the Winter Blues in South Tyneside with the Bodybalance Workout

THE latest stress-busting technique used by the rich and famous is now available in South Tyneside.

Bodybalance is a unique workout combining yoga, t’ai chi and pilates, which enhances both physical and mental wellbeing. Usually only found at exclusive health resorts, two South Tyneside fitness professionals have secured a Bodybalance licence and are now offering classes at competitive rates.

Classes take place in Hebburn Community Centre every tuesday at 7.15pm and Sunday at 11am, for just £3.50 per session. Participants should wear comfortable workout clothes and be aware that the class is conducted in bare feet.

We are delighted that the authentically-made replica Gold Lyre of Ur - the oldest stringed instrument ever found, will be part of our Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Come along to the Oriental Museum galleries and hear an introduction to this beautiful instrument: the amazing story of how it was made, followed by a costumed performance of some ancient Sumerian poetry and stories, in translation, accompanied by the Lyre.

This event is suitable for all the family.

Normal museum admission charges will apply.
