Welcome to the Community Grants application round for the new European Social Fund (ESF) Programme.
The Learn NorthEast Community Grants programme will provide grants of up to £12,000 to small, third sector, voluntary and community organisations to engage with local communities to deliver a range of skills and employment support activities to enable people from the hardest to reach communities, experiencing multiple disadvantages, to make progress towards the labour market.
The programme is funded by the North East Learning and Skills Council (LSC) and the European Social Fund (ESF). The grant programme will be administered by Hartlepool Borough Council (HBC) who have been selected by the LSC to act as the Grant Co-ordinating Body. HBC will work in partnership with learning and skills consortia organisations in each of Local Authority Areas. An ESF Community Grants Steering Group has been established to strategically develop the programmes’ policies and procedures and oversee the implementation of the programme. Applications will be selected by a regional selection panel.
